ARMADA’26 is on the move.
Three months in and the team keeps growing, calendars are getting fuller, and suddenly there are familiar faces everywhere around campus. What started as a small group working quietly behind the scenes is slowly turning into a big organization all working toward the same thing: making THS ARMADA Career Fair 2026 happen.
To kick things off properly, the Operations Team spent a full day together filled with games, food, mingling, and getting to know the people they’ll probably end up spending way too many meetings with this year.
The day started with a short introduction to ARMADA and the people behind it all. For many, it was the first chance to finally connect names to faces and see how many people are actually involved in making Armada happen.
Then it was time to get competitive.
The Project Group had prepared eight different game stations, and everyone rotated through them in teams throughout the day. Some challenges needed teamwork, some creativity, and some mostly just exposed who gets very competitive under pressure.
Some groups came in with actual strategies. Others relied mostly on confidence.
Halfway through, we paused for fika and mingle time before jumping back into the games. By then, the atmosphere had completely changed. Conversations flowed easier, inside jokes had already started forming, and the team didn’t really feel “new” anymore.
To finish off the kick-off, everyone headed to the dinner gasque and enjoyed a three-course meal together. Somewhere between the main course and dessert, the winning team was officially crowned and awarded eternal bragging rights.
At least until the next event.
The evening ended with cozy conversations, lots of laughter, and that nice feeling of realizing ARMADA’26 is no longer just something being planned, it’s properly underway now.
Behind ARMADA Career Fair is a whole team of students building something together long before the fair itself begins. This was just a small glimpse into everything happening behind the scenes, and honestly, we’re only getting started.
